Official myChat app debuts on Windows Phone Store

| |

A popular messaging app for iOS and Android, myChat, recently made its Windows Phone debut, allowing users of that platform to access its features for the first time. MyChat is a new SMS replacement app increasingly popular on Android, where it has close to 10 million users.
The app has now come to Windows Phone and lets you send free messages, and also free voice and video calls.
While myChat first started in Russia as part of the Mail.Ru Group company, it has since expanded beyond its origins and and in 2013 the company opened up an office in the US in Mountain View, California. It will be interesting to see if myChat can compete with the many other instant messaging clients that are already available for Windows Phone. Head below to take a closer look at the features of myChat.

Features:

  • Chat for free all around the world
  • Easy photo and file sharing
  • Group chats
  • Push notifications
  • Smileys
