TimesCity gets a major update for Windows Phone

| |

TimesCity.com, a Times Internet service, allows you to access information about restaurants, nightlife spots and movie theatres around you. Available for eleven cities in India as of now, the app helps you search and find restaurants and pubs to decide where to eat and party as well as the latest movie showtimes.
The official TimesCity app arrived on the Windows Phone Store in April this year, and has just been bumped to v2.0.0.0.
The new version introduces table booking powered by BookyourTable from within the app. Once you pick up a restaurant, you need to specify number of people, date, meal type (like a buffet or brunch), and the corresponding time. Once the table is found available, you'd be asked to specify your mobile number to send the confirmation SMS. If you aren't logged in, you'd be asked to login via your Facebook or Google account.
The latest update also brings better functionality and an improved experience to search. QuickFinds make it very easy to help find what's around as well as the popular search keywords. Once you've searched for your preferred restaurant, pub, or club, you can decide quickly with the help of offers indicator on each listing.

Download the free TimesCity app for Windows Phone 8 devices from the Windows Phone Store.
