Partial Windows ''Blue" screenshot leaked

The trusted smartphone leaker, @evleaks has just leaked a new image of Windows "Blue" which shows touch enabled Windows buttons. No information on the implementation was revealed, or if all Windows Phone 8.1 devices would need to have virtual buttons, but it seems likely that the move was made to make it easier to Android OEMs to repurpose their Android handsets for Windows Phone devices.

Ironically the latest move would take us back to the start of Windows Phone, when the Nokia Sea Ray, aka Lumia 800 was also first seen with virtual buttons before the final design solidified on hard buttons.

Nokia Motion Monitor Beta exclusively for Lumia 1520 released.

Nokia has released a new app called “Motion Monitor” exclusively for Lumia 1520 and it is in Beta as of now. If you own a Lumia 1520 then you can download and install it from the WP store by following the download link at bottom of the article.

Nokia Motion Monitor Beta tracks your physical activity – both steps and other motions – and shows just how much you really move. The Timeline is where your daily activity is recorded. Here you can see when you were moving, how intense the activity was and your total step count. The Events view gives you insights into your motion and summaries of your day, while the Week and Month views will help you discover if there are any patterns to your movement. The more you keep your phone with you, the better the data will be.

The biggest of Nokia phones will soon be available for Indian users

As for a tweet by Nawzil, Nokia is going to hold a press event at Delhi on 16th December to launch the biggest of the Nokia devices, aka Nokia Lumia 1320 and Nokia Lumia 1520. There is no news on the launch of the Nokia's tablet 2520 in India. These phones were reveled by Nokia back in October, will hit the stores soon in India. As for the prices are concerned their is no official announcement by either Nokia or Microsoft but Nokia Lumia 1520 will cost around 45,000 INR and the Lumia 1320 will cost around 20,000 INR.

GTA: SanAndreas coming to WP next week

Rockstar Games has announced the most awaited game GTA: SanAndreas for iOS today. In addition to it they also announced that the WP users don't have wait for long to get it as it will be launched next week. The date is still not confirmed by Rockstar Games. The game will cover the state of San Andreas and its three major cities – Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturas. GTA: SanAndreas include 70hrs of gameplay featuring remastered, high-resolution graphics built specifically for mobile. We can’t wait to play this game.


Rockstar Games tells us that the promised Android and Windows Phone versions will hit next week.

Nokia Normandy is Nokia's Android phone

Rumours of Nokia's Android Phone are again back.

TheVerge has revealed some details about the Nokia Normandy, which the Verge has now confirmed is a low-end Android phone, An image of the handset was published in November by @evleaks, showing a Lumia-style device with no apparent capacitive buttons for navigation.

Nokia has been developing the Android-powered phone despite Microsoft’s plans to acquire the company’s handset business. It’s now unclear whether Nokia will release the handset or not.

According to The Verge , The handset would run a forked version of Android, and would be able to run apps like Skype, and was meant to be launched in 2014.

Yesterday Microsoft rolled out a new update for GDR3 preview users around the world. The preview version was released for developers in October.
                                         

The following updates are now available to download:

  • Microsoft Update 8.0.10517.150
 
No official changelog released for the update.
We are now installing the update so can't comment on the changes in the update but the small size of the update suggest that it has got some bug fixes only.
