Video: New Custom Ringtones GDR3 feature demoed on Nokia Lumia 925

Here’s another video from AAWP, demonstrating the new Custom Ringtones feature of WP8 GDR3 update on Lumia 925 smartphone.

With this new feature now its possible to set a custom sound for new text or IM messages, new voicemails, new emails, and reminders. It’s now also possible to assign custom ringtones to contacts for text messages. Previously, this was only possible for incoming calls.

“With Update 3 (GRD3), you can use custom ringtones for more things—including instant messages, emails, voicemails, and reminders. You can also assign custom ringtones to contacts for text messages, so you’ll know who’s texting you without even looking.”
